A Jeep Thing Is Now Just Ducky

If you've ever heard someone say "It's a jeep thing, you wouldn't understand," they're probably right. Jeep is its own culture, and if you don't get it, well, you're not alone. It's a phrase that's been around for years and  is often used by Jeep enthusiasts to describe the unique bond that they share.

Sure, other car enthusiasts have their own cultures and ways of doing things, but Jeepers are in a class all their own. They're a passionate bunch who love nothing more than spending time off-road, getting dirty, and pushing their vehicles to the limit.

A recent article from autoblog.com talks about a gigantic 61 foot tall inflatable duck that towered over the 2022 Detroit Auto Show.  What does a giant inflatable duck have to do with a Jeep?

According to the article " Why a duck? Because it commemorates a recent trend in the Jeep community called "ducking," in which Jeep owners hand out rubber ducks to compliment one another's rides."

So, if you see a Jeep with a rubber duck on it, don't be alarmed. It's just a friendly way for other jeep owners to show appreciation for their fellow Jeep enthusiasts. What about you? Are you looking to get into the Jeep culture? Or are you needing another car?
